Usually the phishing attempts are pretty lame and can easily be avoided by ignoring them.
For example, the latest email I got from someone who calls himself/herself 'stellau':

I can't imagine anyone actually falling for this, but here are a few tips.
1) If you haven't engaged them in a conversation in a forum or group, they are not here for the purpose of Freedom Gardens.
2) Don't give anyone your email address.  You can message people through this site without ever having to divulge your own email address, this site forwards all mail.

Beyond that, I don't know what to do about this.
Anyone can join Freedom Gardens, including the phishing expeditions.
This is an exact repeat of a similar message I got from someone else who tried it.
So the person will get booted off (read the message, they know they will), but it doesn't matter.
They will just log on under another alias and annoy people.

Not sure what the administrators of this site want to do about it or how we are even supposed to report it.

lol i too got her email i reported her using the report person button on her profile.
Hmm we may have to fight over her :) seems she loves us both LOL

make that three, i replied , i am only here for my love of gardening.these folks are on every forum. like said before, just use common sense, & don't fall for these messages.

SHe must have been a very affectionate lady...
