...so if I want to change the picture, I am stuck with the slogan from the last picture I had, which makes no sense.


When I joined 'Freedom Gardeners' I figured my avatar would be a picture of my dog, and if I didn't like the site, I could just leave and no one would know who I am.  But later I noticed that I liked to see the faces of others smiling out from their avatars, so I uploaded a picture of me in my july garden so that others could see that I am a real person.  But the slogan underneath still indicates that I am a dog!  So I went back to the original picture.  Fooey.

FruitCellerDwellar -- you should be able to change your caption under your profile picture -- it is a separate link than the one for the photo itself. When you are logged in and on your profile page, under your photo (where your slogan/tag is) there should be an option that says "change"

Like on my profile, when I'm logged in, it looks like this:

Steven (23) and his mom Tracy (48)
[ Change ]

When I click on the "change" underneath my slogan/cation/tag (whatever you want to call it) it will let me change the wording of that.
If you don't see it on your profile, there is a chance you accidentally got logged out and are not recognized as the owner of that profile. You can see if you are logged in at the top of your page.

I should clarify -- that option only seems to appear when I'm on my "My Home" page, not when I'm on my "My Profile" page. So if you are on your Profile page, click on the "My Home" link at the top left, and you should see the Change option.
