Family:
Beautiful wife, handsome, bright and talented children, nieces and nephews. Two of the world's most wonderful sisters and a couple of looney in-laws.
About Me:
I am an urban gardener in a quite rural town (some 4000 persons +/-). I have some 100 + year old grape vines, a 30 y.o. apricot tree and an area about 12' x 10' for seasonal veggies. I may be expanding that area as I can't digest the grass that grows there now...
Interests:
Catahoulas, fishing, hunting, foraging, photography, good books and bad T.V. Opera, The Blues, guitars with busted strings and good ol' rock & roll. Preserving, drying and storing of food. The Sierra Nevada mountain range (all of it) and a good pair of boots. A good smoke (you know who you are...), and California's compassionate care laws (NO! to legalization!). A good loaf of bread. Homemade soup on a cold day. And oh so much more...
Favorite Quote:
"Take a course in good water and air; and in the eternal youth of Nature you may renew your own. Go quietly, alone; no harm will befall you."

-John Muir
